Nether Langwith, Notts, September 22, 2012, very frequent here

Very similar to the Meadow Grasshopper (C. parallelus) in appearance, both having almost parallel-sided pronotal plates, but this species is fully-winged and rather drab-coloured and sometime has a pale wing margin. Shorter winged forms also occur here.
