Dark Bush-cricket (Pholidoptera griseoaptera)

Dark Bush-cricket at Heathwaite, Arnside Knott, Lancashire, August 16, 2012 (all above). Quite a large population was found here on open limetone grassland, several individuals sitting out on low bramble in warm sunny weather.
